Making your online presence more accessible: images, graphics and text with Michael Chamberlain

This webinar will introduce key points of accessibility in your branding and online marketing so that participants can ensure their online presence is accessible for disabled people. We’ll cover topics including colour and contrast, alt text and text formatting.

This workshop is aimed at third sector professionals who are responsible for their organisation’s online presence.

What you will take away from this workshop:

  • A basic understanding of a breadth of accessibility factors, for instance how to use an accessible text font and size.
  • Confidence in implementing extra accessibility steps into their website and social media.
  • Attendees will gain information about where to go if they want to extend their knowledge , so they can continue learning beyond the webinar.

This session is open to any charity sector employees and volunteers across the UK. Where spaces are limited priority will be given to grant holders of The William Grant Foundation, The Robertson Trust, Inspiring Scotland, The National Lottery Community Fund and The RS MacDonald Charitable Trust.

With a background in working with those who face multiple barriers to participation, he has been working with Lead Scotland for the last 18 months on everything to do with the overlap of accessibility and technology, such as creating accessible online presences, and making accessible choices with digital security.
