Delivering online youth work with Marie Gallagher

This interactive workshop is an opportunity to explore the benefits of online youth work and practical ideas for delivering sessions and activities. Delegates will develop knowledge about the possibilities that digital engagement offers children and young people in their communities.

 

This workshop is aimed at third sector professionals who who engage directly with children and young people.

 

What you will take away from this workshop:

 

  • Confidence in planning and evaluating an online youth work session
  • How to effectively use at least one interactive digital resource to encourage young people’s participation in your sessions
  • Knowledge of three key safeguarding measures required for online youth work delivery

This session is open to any charity sector employees and volunteers across the UK. Where spaces are limited priority will be given to grant holders of The William Grant Foundation, The Robertson Trust, Inspiring Scotland, The National Lottery Community Fund and The RS MacDonald Charitable Trust.
