I have spent the last 30+ years working in IT/Technology, the majority in digital analytics and digital marketing. I am also certified in data privacy (CIPP/E and CIPM) by the IAPP (https://iapp.org) and have significant experience of GDPR and data privacy/security issues.

I have worked in both end-user and software vendor organisations, in varied roles from Business Analyst to VP of Pre-sales and Professional Services. I have spent most of my career providing better information/data and tools to organisations, whether using my hands-on experience as an analyst or through the implementation of software and services. My experience in pre-sales has involved presenting and explaining complex technical concepts to varied audiences.

I am particularly interested in charities and roles which are involved in financial, legal and technical advocacy - i.e. getting more people access to services and benefits which can help them. I also currently volunteer in local youth football (league and club level), conservation and healthcare charities.
