I have been involved in digital advocacy for over 13 years working primarily in management roles for a global environmental charity in offices around the world but have also spent the last year running a digital-for-change agency helping not-for-profit sector with digital strategies and advocacy tool development. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to learn (by experience) how to deal with different challenges within an organisation when it comes to digital teams as well as campaigning. I would like to be able to offer that knowledge and thinking to causes beyond just my paid work. I believe that we need more knowledge sharing and faster if we want to achieve the dream of a just society but I also think I have more space to grow and evolve and see a Digital Trustee role to be that exchange of experiences and opportunities to learn more.

The causes close to my heart are climate crisis, wealth inequality and racial discrimination but I am also very interested in working with groups focussed on community based solutions to problems like food, safety, health etc.
