Number of years experience:
Hi I'm a digital strategist and business advisor with 25 years experience working in digital, ecommerce, CX and marketing. I started my career in retail during the dotcom boom (and bust!) before becoming becoming a consultant and strategist working at a variety of creative and design agencies. For the last 15+ years I have been advising clients on how to best use digital in all its forms, whilst also helping them to imagine, design and build a host of websites and digital services. I have worked with many corporates and brands spanning financial services, FMCG, retail, publishing, technology, telco, travel, automative and more - including TfL, the Financial Times, Compare the Market, Unilever, Cadbury, BlackBerry, Kia, Sainsbury's, the BBC, eBay and O2. In the 3rd sector, I have worked closely with the NSPCC, Oxfam and Amnesty International over many years - notably bringing the Oxfam Shop online, transforming ChildLine from a phone line to a digital service, and building a strategic roadmap for Amnesty.org.uk. I approach my work with a holistic 'systems' view and I love nothing more than seeing strategy come to life through experiences and outcomes. I have a passion for social and environmental change (I have an MSc in environmental science), and I love music. I'm very much a family man too.
