Video Specialist Darryl Corner, Third Sector Lab

This week, Darryl Corner becomes the newest member of the Third Sector Lab team! With an extensive background in the media industry, Darryl brings a wealth of experience and expertise in video production.

Having worked at a senior level, Darryl recognises the transformative power of video and its ability to engage and connect with diverse audiences.

He aims to bring his expertise, knowledge and creative flair to new and existing clients. As video lead, he will also work on Third Sector Lab initiatives, including The Curve, Digital Trustees and the Open Working Programme.

“The technology to produce stunning and engaging video content has never been so accessible. New tech and new ways of working mean it’s now possible for charities and the voluntary sector to really benefit from enhanced quality and creative possibilities”

Darryl Corner

He joins us from ReachPLC (Trinity Mirror). There, he led a team to create solutions for some of the country’s largest companies. Darryl developed paid-for content that was published through national and regional news titles, including the Daily Mirror and the Daily Record.

Coming from a publishing background, he believes in taking an ‘audience first’ attitude to everything:

“Understanding what audiences need to know and how they consume information should inform all decisions when it comes to making creative and technical decisions around video production.”

Darryl Corner

We look forward to working with Darryl! If you have ideas for a video project you’d like to discuss, please get in touch at darryl@thirdsectorlab.co.uk.
