The Alasdair Gray Archive is an interdisciplinary arts organisation with public engagement and creative
commissioning at its core. It was established in March 2020 following Alasdair Gray’s death late 2019 and in 2023 we became a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) with the registration number 052417. We have created a socially conscious model of making using Alasdair’s approach as a methodology for creating new work. The Archive is generative and aims to amplify the social impact of creativity through a range of activities including public engagement, creative commissioning and education.

We are looking for Trustees with experience or interest in:
- Fundraising and capturing grants, alongside securing major gifts and philanthropic donations.
- Legal basic knowledge, especially related to copyright and Intellectual Property.
- Bookkeeping.
- PR and media development.
