PKAVS (Perth & Kinross Association of Voluntary Services) is a well-established local charity, founded in 1972, supporting over 7,500 people across Perth & Kinross. Our vision is a Perth & Kinross where individuals flourish, and communities thrive. We provide vital, locally-tailored services for unpaid carers, people with limited mobility, individuals experiencing mental health challenges, and families in poverty. We also strengthen other organisations via our Third Sector Interface.

Why We Need a Digital Trustee

We are on a journey to improve our digital capabilities—ensuring we are making the most of technology to enhance service delivery, improve internal efficiencies, and increase our impact. We are seeking a Digital Trustee to join our Board and provide strategic guidance as we develop our digital transformation strategy.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking someone with experience in digital transformation, website development, IT strategy, cyber security, data management, or digital inclusion. Ideally, you will bring:

Experience in leading or advising on digital strategy.

Knowledge of digital service delivery and innovation.

An understanding of data protection and cyber security.

A passion for using technology to improve lives and services.

As a Trustee, you will play a key role in shaping the future of PKAVS, working alongside fellow Board members and senior leadership to ensure we are harnessing digital opportunities effectively.

What’s Involved?

Attending bi-monthly Board meetings (hybrid attendance available).

Advising on digital strategy and innovation.

Supporting senior leadership in embedding digital thinking across the organisation.

Ensuring we are making informed, ethical, and secure digital decisions.

Eligibility

Due to our governing articles, Board members must be based in Perth & Kinross.
