Nurturing Affective Care (NAC)
NAC are dedicated to the mental health of people who have severe disabilities and who do not speak with words and therefore cannot access talking therapies. We are a Community Interest Company, founded by Dr Julie Calveley, who works on a voluntary basis with a voluntary co-director who also manages bookkeeping and accounts. We have a volunteer support us with communication and research. A retired professional footballer is our Patron.
We'd like to work with someone who can explore whether email newsletters, LinkedIn, Facebook or X can get to budget holders and decision makers in the right education, health and social care roles. We have lots of long form video and information content that needs editing to be effective on social media. We'd like to work with a volunteer on a long term basis.
We are looking for someone who has experience in:
Managing social media and Linked In platforms
Increasing reach and engagement
Email design and management
and who could assist with the strategic business direction of our organisation.

Level of Board commitment required:
Quarterly meetings and responding to emails
Induction period:
Yes to welcome the new volunteer, help them settle in and ensure they have the knowledge and support they need to perform their role
