Kirklees Youth Alliance is a community youth work support charity operating across the Kirklees area of West Yorkshire, England. We were established in 2017 in response to our local authority Youth Service closing as a result of Austerity.

We provide infrastructure support to member organisations who are delivering youth work and development opportunities to children and young people aged 8-17 (24 with SEND).

We produce a monthly newsletter detailing funding, training, youth voice etc. opportunities and we run a 6-weekly peer support Youth Workers' Forum.

Our voice and influence work includes our CEO chairing the Community Youth Offer workstream of the Kirklees Youth Development Programme Partnership as well as regional and national advocacy work.

Our delivery work includes a Young Ambassadors' Programme, a targeted NCS Community Experience Programme and various place-based youth groups which are our capacity-building projects.

We are an incredible lean organisation with 1-3 paid staff members (depending on funding and projects) and 8 dedicated Trustees of whom none are digital experts at present.
