Children’s Heart Federation
Heart conditions are the most common defect present at birth in the UK.
1 in 100 children are born with a congenital heart defect, 20–30% of which will require surgery within the first year of life. Thousands more children will acquire a heart condition in infancy each year.
The Children’s Heart Federation (CHF) is the leading national charity championing children with heart conditions. Our vision is that all children with heart conditions have their medical and social needs met so they can live the fullest life possible.
It's an exciting time to join the organisation, coming up to our 40th year of existence we are preparing for a rebrand and a new era of listening & responding to the current and changing needs of children with heart conditions across the UK.
