Online facilitation skills with Marie Gallagher, Mind Waves
This workshop is valuable for any charities who are designing and delivering online activities, projects or training with their service-users or other stakeholders. The session will cover:
- The key principles of facilitation in light of benefits and challenges which an online space presents
- Methods for understanding and developing group dynamics when we are not working in a traditional face-to-face environment
- Supporting different learning styles when delivering services online
- Incorporating facilitation best practice into our planning
About the trainer
Marie is the Digital Media Coordinator with peer-led mental health charity Mind Waves, creating content across a range of online platforms and delivering digital skills workshops. She has a background in teaching, facilitation and project management across the early years, education and youth work sectors. She specialises in training development and rights-based work with children and young people.
This session is only available to staff, trustees and volunteers of third sector organisations - charities, community groups, social enterprises and housing associations.
