Defining what to measure

When we don’t measure the impact of the work we’re doing, how do we know whether it’s working or not? Take off the blind fold, build your own measurement strategy.

This session will help you to understand where measuring your progress could support your work and how to put it into practice.

You’ll learn key terms, why measuring and evaluating effect of your work is important, how to build your own measurement strategy.

Understand why measuring your impact helps prove the value of your work and learn from your actions. Work through and build a measurement strategy for your activities.

At the end of the session, you will have a good understanding of

  • why measuring the impact of your work is important,

  • how it can help you improve your activities,

  • how to put a usable and adaptable method to measure your success

This session is open to any charity sector employees and volunteers across the UK. Where spaces are limited priority will be given to grant holders of our funding organisations.

About the trainer

BeMoreDigital began with a vision to support the development of a resilient and innovative charity and not for profit sector in the UK and beyond. Digital is more than the technology we use, digital ways of working can help us be more flexible and able to adapt, can reduce the administrative burdens, and are vital to charities and non-profits in working through organisational challenges.
