Considerations and standards when developing your digital strategy with Bobi Robson
The most important bits can often be forgotten when developing your digital strategy. The frameworks and standards that you and your organisation want to work towards shouldn't be one of them, learn how to embed these from the start.
This workshop is aimed at third sector professionals who are in strategic and digital roles and are looking to embed more standards across the organisation.
What you will take away from this workshop:
- An understanding of what you need to consider to embed good digital practice in your organisation; equality, accessibility, and data protection.
- Where to begin with all three.
- How to build out your roadmap to embed these into your strategy (the things you'll do to make it happen in your org).
To get the most out of this workshop, you will need:
- A very basic understanding of GDPR, accessibility, and equality - what they mean and why they exist.
This session will likely use Google Docs, Jamboard, and Trello.
This session is open to any charity sector employees and volunteers across the UK. Where spaces are limited priority will be given to grant holders of The William Grant Foundation, The Robertson Trust, Inspiring Scotland, The National Lottery Community Fund and The RS MacDonald Charitable Trust.
