This workshop will explore how you can use a kanban/backlog approach to manage your team’s tasks. Kanban is a lean method that gives you real-time insight into your team's progress. Often used in agile software development, it can be applied to lots of other contexts to give you accountability and flexibility as your work develops.
This workshop is aimed at anyone who is looking to improve their team's ability to collaborate and share real-time progress
What you will take away from this workshop:
- An understanding of the key principles behind Kanban;
- How you can set up a basic Backlog / Doing / Done board;
- How you can use Trello as a tool for planning and sharing tasks
This session is open to any charity sector employees and volunteers across the UK. Where spaces are limited priority will be given to grant holders of The William Grant Foundation, The Robertson Trust, Inspiring Scotland, The National Lottery Community Fund and The RS MacDonald Charitable Trust.
