I have recently made the move from the education sector to the not-for-profit sector, purely because this is the kind of work that makes me leave for the day feeling like I have made a difference. I have a deep rooted passion for content creation, digital communications and story telling. I am currently the Digital Communications and Social Media Officer at Forward Leeds, where I create engaging and informative content for various online platforms, such as YouTube, blogs, and podcasts. I graduated from Leeds Beckett University in July 2021 with a degree in Broadcast Media Technologies, which equipped me with the skills and knowledge to produce, edit, and distribute digital media. I use Premiere Pro, Audition, and Microsoft Excel to edit videos, podcasts, and data, as well as copywriting, pair writing, and event management skills to communicate effectively with different audiences.

I have previous experience at Leeds Beckett University as a Social Media Officer, working with academics, students and partners to showcase the achievements, stories, and opportunities of the university community. I enjoy collaborating with other departments, guest lecturers, and alumni to create meaningful and impactful content that reflects the values and goals of the university. Here I brought diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, having previously worked as a Course Administrator and an Events and Alumni Partners Support Staff at Leeds Beckett University.
